Assassin's Creed Recollection now playable on iPhone and a free-to-play experience

Ubisoft has updated the iPad version of its card game tie-in Assassin's Creed Recollection so that it's now a Universal app, meaning it's playable on iPhone, too.

In this F2P tactical take on the centuries-old battle between the Assassins and the Templars, you have to use a variety of cards (referred to as "memories") to claim territory and dominate your opponent.

Though the rules are simple, the challenge runs deep, so you must use all of your cunning if you want to outwit your enemy and conquer the board.

This clever card game stole the heart of our otherwise-battle-hardened reviewer on iPad, earning it a Silver Award and a glowing recommendation in the process.

And if you liked the look of the Assassin's Creed 3 trailer, you'll be pleased to hear Ubi has slipped some artwork from its unreleased epic into this Universal app.
