Retro platformer Super Bit Dash is now fully optimised for the Xperia Play, allowing you to control 8-bit - your pixellated protagonist - with the D-pad.

As 8-bit swoops horizontally and vertically around each level, he must avoid hazards and collect coins to top up his energy levels.

If 8-bit runs out of energy, he can no longer dash, so you'll need to keep a very close eye on the on-screen meter.

Randomly generated levels keep you guessing during repeat plays of Super Bit Dash. There are also a host of characters to unlock, achievements to earn, and leaderboards to climb.

If you're a sucker for old skool platforming, or if you're just curious, then we have some further good news: Super Bit Dash is currently available for free from the Android Market [download].
