Appy's award nominated iOS freemium game Spellcraft: School of Magic gets updated with better healing and new gold plant

IMGA-nominated as the best social mobile game of 2011, Appy Entertainment's Spellcraft: School of Magic has just got better.

It's received what the developer labels as a "massive update".

The reason for the description is over the past two months, Appy's been tracking users, especially in terms of areas of difficulty.

It's something this update is designed to smooth.

Healthy changes

There's been a couple of enhancements - notably in terms of the health and currency system.

"Rather than letting players get in over their head and then have to burn through their cash with healing potions, players can now brew healing spells ahead of time, and save the potion option for emergencies," Appy explains.

It's also added a new plant.

Called Goldberry, it's a pure gold harvesting option - something that backed up your options in terms buying items that will directly aid your gameplay.

Combined, these sources of gold and health should make it easier to progress your character through the dungeons, which is required to level up and unlock new plants, which are used as ingredients to make more powerful spells.
