Nintendo is to broadcast a new edition of its bi-monthly web show Nintendo Direct tomorrow afternoon. Coincidentally, a rival manufacturer's new handheld goes on sale in Europe and the US tomorrow. See what Ninty's done there.

Anyway, the Japanese gaming giant has used its Nintendo Direct broadcast in the past to share information on upcoming titles, eShop updates, and 3DS firmware improvements.

Tomorrow's edition, however, breaks new ground for the firm, for it will be broadcast to European audiences for the first time, complete with subtitles.

This would suggest that The Big N might have a few major announcements up its sleeve regarding the 3DS. Well, we can all live in hope, can't we.

You can catch the show here when it goes live at midday tomorrow.
