State of Play Games is bringing popular PC point-and-click adventure Lume to the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Mac on the 23rd of February. This Thursday, in other words.

The puzzler, which was created entirely from paper and cardboard, sees you jump into the shoes of a young girl called Lumi and attempt to restore power back to your grandad's house.

That's not all, though, as you also have to unravel a mystery and get to the bottom of the strange blackout.

"We are extremely excited about launching Lume to the iOS market. We have had fantastic feedback from fans of the PC game, it’s been great to be able to bring it to a new audience," Luke Whittaker, Director of State of Play Games, said.

"In fact, we'd designed the original with iOS devices in mind and really delighted we can finally bring it to the handheld market, it feels like a perfect home for the game."

A feast for the eyes

Thanks to its unique visuals, Lume has been nominated for an Excellence in Visual Arts award at this year's Independent Games Festival.

The iOS versions of the game feature new sound effects and an improved control interface, and sport a higher resolution than the original PC outing. Fancy.

You'll be able to grab it from the App Store and the Mac App Store from this Thursday.
