Pocket Gamer iPhone and iPad gaming podcast: Episode 163 - BAFTAs, Hasbro's iPad boardgames, Double Fine, Pinball Arcade, Temple Run, Beat Sneak Bandit, Ragdoll Blaster 3

Love is (apparently) in the air this week due to Valentine's Day, which naturally gives me a good excuse to mention courting women with copies of Catan and Carcassonne.

Thankfully, this (sound) piece of advice is quickly disregarded by the others, meaning we could move onto more interesting topics, such as the recently announced BAFTA Video Game Award nominees, Hasbro's crazy iPad boardgame hybrids, and why Kickstarter won't be the death of publishers.

There's a mixture of good and awful games in the New Releases pile, with Beat Sneak Bandit heading up the "blimey, that's good" brigade. Also, the Irish commando from PC hit Commandos makes a guest appearance in new stealth-'em-up Postmen (not actually true).

I've been playing Pinball Arcade far too much this week, Peter really likes Temple Run, Keith's still killing zombies in End Night, and Jon's been blasting dolls out of cannons in Ragdoll Blaster 3.

So, not that romantic, then.
