Cro-Mag Rally (Universal)

Cro-Mag Rally is one of the App Store's oldest titles. It tasks you - a caveman who goes by the name of Brog - with racing a range of primitive vehicles through the Stone, Bronze, and Iron Ages.

If you're having trouble beating your opponents, I'd suggest making full use of the 11 prehistoric weapons and nine different power-ups available in the game.

Despite its age, Cro-Mag Rally takes advantage of a number of iOS's newer features, such as the ability to race on your HD TV using AirPlay and an Apple TV.

Move the Box (iPhone)

Move the Box is a simple logic puzzle title that, as you've probably already guessed, charges you with moving boxes.

The aim of the game is to remove all of the boxes from your device's screen by matching three of more similarly coloured ones. The catch: you can only make a limited number of moves per stage.

If you're struggling with any of the game's 168 challenging levels, you can splash the cash on packs of hints, which are available through in-app purchases. Download Move the Box
