Another day, another Apple rumour.

Website iMore is reporting that the Cupertino-based tech company will unveil its highly sought-after iPad 3 on March 7th, which is just over three weeks away.

According to "sources who have been reliable in the past", Apple's new tablet will feature a 2048x1536 resolution Retina display and the heavily rumoured quad-core A6 processor.

There's a chance the iPad 3 will also arrive packing 4G LTE connectivity.

Guess again

Naturally, we take all Apple rumours with a fistful of salt here at Pocket Gamer Towers, but The Loop's Jim Dalrymple has chimed in to confirm the purported March 7th unveiling.

If this date is indeed correct, media invitations should begin to surface pretty soon. We will, of course, let you know when they do.
