Free Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D demo sneaking onto Nintendo's eShop this Thursday

Every Thursday, Nintendo updates its 3DS eShop with a bunch of new content, including demos, Game Boy titles, and DSiWare applications.

This week, you'll be able to grab your tranquilliser gun, pull on a bandana, and get your grubby mitts on a free playable demo of Konami's forthcoming stealth-'em-up Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.

If you aren't familiar with the PlayStation 2 hit, the first thing you should do is read our hands-on with the game. You'll soon discover it places you in the shoes of legendary soldier Naked Snake, who has to traverse a dense jungle; avoid guards, snakes, and traps; and infiltrate a Soviet compound.

If sneaking through bushes and shooting soldiers in the face isn't really your cup of tea, however, you will also be able to download classic Game Boy platformer Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 this week for £3.60.

What's left?

From Thursday, you'll be able to download GO Series: Undead Storm, too, which sees you team up with your buddies and face off against waves of zombies in a hospital, a chemical plant, and across a downtown area.

That'll set you back £1.80 or 200 Nintendo DSi Points.

Finally, there's Successfully Learning Mathematics Year 4, which will be available on Thursday for £4.50 or 500 Nintendo DSi Points. Basically, you have to solve mathematical puzzles. Gripping stuff.
