Glu's zombie-filled freemium strategy title Infected spreads to the Android Market

Back in December, publisher Glu Games released zombie-filled freemium game Infected for Apple's iPhone and iPad.

Well, this top-down strategy title is now also available to download from Google's Android Market.

If you aren't familiar with Infected, it charges you with protecting groups of citizens from waves of flesh-eating undead zombies.

You do this by placing protective forces around the helpless residents, and using cars and other objects to create makeshift barriers and barricades.

Once you're done with the game's single-player experience, you can jump into a multiplayer bout with up to three of your best Facebook and OpenFeint buddies.
