Rumour: Image from source 'in possession' of iPad 3 confirms quad-core A6 processor
|

According to the Boy Genius Report website, a source "claiming to be in possession" of Apple's iPad 3 has provided it with images that contain several details of the forthcoming tablet.

The images, which show the iPad 3's output using a development tool called iBoot, reveal two different model numbers: J1 and J2.

Instead of two different devices, however, these likely refer to two variations of a single iPad 3. A wi-fi-only version and a 3G version, in other words.

Should they be legit, the photographs also confirm that Apple will pack its new tablet with its heavily rumoured quad-core A6 processor.

Head on over to Boy Genius Report to check out the images for yourself.

Think they're legit?
