Futuremark Games has just unleashed its latest graphically rich iOS title Unstoppable Gorg on the New Zealand App Store, meaning it’ll be arriving in the UK and US from midnight tonight.

Unstoppable Gorg is a tower defence title in which you defend our solar system from a sci-fi B movie-styled invasion from Planet X.

Rather than just funnel the foes through Corridors O’ Doom, however, you place your towers on various rings around your planet. You can then move these towers to take into account attacks from different sides.

LovelyLovely LouLou

There are a number of evil (read: slightly camp) villains for you to blast back whence they came, including the titular King, the Sunbots led by 1950s robot Radient Beam, and the beautiful - but deadly! - LouLou D’vil.

Personally, I’d probably let LouLou win, going by her segment in the trailer vid below. LouLou: if you're reading - call me.

Anyway, enough about my weakness for extraterrestrial femmes fatales. Unstoppable Gorg will be available for the iPad in the US and UK from midnight tonight, priced at £2.99 / $4.99.
