Fruit Ninja clone Fruit Slayer and other iPhone apps up for sale on eBay

Blatant Fruit Ninja clone Fruit Slayer is on sale. Just not as you might expect.

You can currently nab both the Pro and Lite versions of the slash-'em-up - which is no longer on the App Store - from internet auction site eBay for $312.11. That's a little way off 69p / 99c.

Anyway, if you win the auction, you'll bag yourself a copy of the app's code, which you can submit to the App Store wholesale. Or you could just decide to "change the 3D models and make a different awesome game".

Your call.

According to the app's listing on eBay, Fruit Slayer was removed from the App Store specifically for this auction, but was raking in around $500 while it was live.

Déjà vu

Fruit Slayer isn't the only iPhone application you can buy from eBay at present, with full ownership of Cannon Collision also up for grabs from the auction site.

The app's seller even promises to throw in a developer for one hour, who'll aid you in switching the apps over to your own iTunes Connect account.

If you fancy snapping up both the paid and free versions of Cannon Collision, you'll need at least $203.50.
