Frontier's iOS port of popular WiiWare platformer LostWinds now available in the New Zealand App Store

Frontier Development's iOS port of its hit WiiWare platformer LostWinds has just breezed onto the New Zealand App Store - UK and US punters can, therefore, look forward to playing it later tonight.

In LostWinds, you take control of a young boy named Toku, who is tasked with saving his homeland from the malevolent elemental spirit Balasar. Fortunately for the wee fella, help is at hand from a wind elemental by the name of Enril.

The game itself contains elements of combat, exploration, and puzzle solving. You use the powers granted to you by Enril to control the wind (which can range from a subtle breeze to a raging tornado) and defeat your enemies.

LostWinds is available now in New Zealand as a Universal app, and will sweep into the UK and US stores at midnight tonight, priced at £2.49 / $2.99.
