Rumour: 'Shocking' Pokemon game announcement due next month

Japanese gaming magazine CoroCoro has teased that it has a 'world first shocking announcement' of a new Pokemon game to reveal in its next issue on January 14th.

This news comes shortly after The Pokemon Company announced that it was to reveal something new for its debut appearance at Japanese trade show, Jump Festa, this weekend.

There's no word on what platform this latest game will be appearing on, although it's a fair assumption that a core Pokemon title will pop up at some point on the 3DS.

It could even be the rumoured Pokemon Grey to accompany this year's Pokemon Black & White games.
