Ubisoft Montreal slashes price of new iPad card game Assassin's Creed Recollection from £1.99/$2.99 to 69p / 99c

Those looking for a classy card game to get stuck into over Xmas should sneak over to the App Store immediately: the not-yet-two-week-old Assassin’s Creed Recollection on iPad is now available for the incomprehensibly low price of 69p / 99c.

Rather than attempt to scale down the console experience of its time-sequencing stealth-’em-up for iPad, the team at Ubisoft Montreal opted to convert it into a turn-based card game.

You’ll need to build your deck, consider your tactics carefully, and keep one eye on the clock if you want to make it to the end of Assassin’s Creed Recollection's globe-trotting campaign.

Like a moonlight shadow

As the war between the Assassins and the Templars unfolds, you will encounter infamous characters from the series, be able to challenge your friends via the multiplayer mode, and unlock artwork from throughout the franchise’s history.

And if you're still not convinced, why not check out Pocket Gamer's review of Assassin’s Creed Recollection, in which we gave the game one of our prestigious Silver Awards.
