D-pad and touchscreen working, buttons not so much

Despite the announcement by OnLive that its streaming games service is limited to tablet PCs at this present moment in time, I've discovered that Xperia Play owners can install and run the app on their device as well (download).

Indeed, the D-pad actually corresponds to moving the selection in the respective direction, making it - for a brief second - seem like OnLive has slyly sneaked in support for Sony Ericsson's gaming phone after all.

Alas, upon further exploration it's obvious that the app doesn't support the gamepad, given that no other buttons function properly.

Still, the touchscreen games work, so while the official line is that only Android tablets are able to use the app in its current form, Xperia Play owners at least can jump in right now.
