Microsoft tries to lure iPhone and Android users over to Windows Phone through web-based emulation
|

Microsoft has created a cheeky HTML5-based mobile site that invites an Android and iPhone user to sample its sleek Windows Phone OS through his device's web browser.

The demo, which works surprisingly well, allows you to tap and swipe your way through some of Windows Phone OS's most important / used apps and features, such as its messaging and email clients.

You can also play about with the in-built Phone app, though you won't be able to make any real calls from it. Obviously.

While the demonstration doesn't give you the entire Windows Phone experience (naturally), it's definitely worth checking out.

Simply point your iPhone or Android device's browser to this demonstration page and away you go.
