MoDaCo modders release Galaxy Nexus volume-changing bugfix
|

We reported last week that a strange volume-changing issue was leaving the recently released Galaxy Nexus "almost unusable."

If you've been affected by the bug - which was originally believed to be hardware-related - you'll be pleased to read that there's now a fix available, providing you're willing to manually flash your phone's OS.

Yes, modders over at MoDaCo have made the “forthcoming official fixed boot image” available to download, meaning you can finally fix the issue.

You will, of course, need an unlocked bootloader and nerves of steel to complete the process - the file is still undergoing internal testing.

Luckily, if you're not feeling confident enough to take matters into your own hands, the official update should be available to download over-the-air pretty soon.
