Android users can breathe a squeak of relief as mouse-herding puzzler ChuChu Rocket! has finally arrived on the Android Market.

Sega’s much-loved Dreamcast classic puts you in charge of a group of perpetually scampering mice called ChuChus. It’s your job to place arrow tiles on the floor and guide the rampaging rodents towards the relative safety of a rocket ship.

Unfortunately for the mice, bands of hungry cats are also roaming the map. This means you will have to be quick and precise to successfully shepherd your cheese-loving flock away from feline jaws.

Of Mice and Yen

"ChuChu Rocket! has become one of our most popular and well-received titles on the App Store, so it was an easy decision to bring it to the many Sega fans on the Android Marketplace," Haruki Satomi, senior VP of digital business at Sega of America, said.

There is also talk of Sega bringing ChuChu Rocket! to other mobile platforms, and even releasing a free mobile version sometime next year, though details are a little vague at present.

In the meantime, you can chase down ChuChu Rocket! on the Android Market for 69p / 99c [download], and the Bronze Award-winning iOS version for £1.99 / $2.99 [buy].
