Smurfs' Village for iPhone and iPad gets new quest, decorations, and more in Christmas update

Capcom's controversial Smurf-filled freemium iOS game Smurfs' Village has been updated with a selection of festive goodies.

What's Santa Smurf got in his sack for you, then?

Well, the first thing you'll notice once you've updated the app is the blanket of powdery snow that covers your once-colourful village. You might even notice the free land expansion.

The upgrade also introduces a fresh holiday quest for Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, and Grouchy, as well as a new snowy bunny creature and a range of new gifts to send to your buddies.

Finally, version 1.1.5 of Smurfs' Village includes a selection of Christmas-themed decorations, which you can use to spruce up your humble abode. As you can probably imagine, these include trees and snowmen.
