Google confirms lack of Adobe Flash support for Ice Cream Sandwich
|

If you've gone out and bought one of those shiny Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Galaxy Nexus gadgets, and you've managed to avoid the pesky volume-changing issue we reported on earlier, you've probably partaken in a spot of web-browsing.

Noticed anything missing?

Yep, Google has confirmed that Adobe's mobile Flash Player isn't currently compatible with the latest version of Android. According to the search giant, Flash will only become available for Android 4.0 once Adobe decides to update its application.

You may be slightly worried, then, given that Adobe recently announced it would no longer update its Flash plugin for mobile browsers. However, according to Google, "Adobe will support Flash for ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich)".

That's good news, but it looks like you'll have to wait to use the tried and tested Flash argument against your iOS-owning buddies.
