Burn the Rope: Worlds (iPhone)If you're unfamiliar with Burn the Rope: Worlds, it's a fiery puzzler that a sees you attempt to burn a series of ropes by tilting your device to keep your dying flames alight.
As you progress, you'll have to change the colour of your blaze to burn various cables, and compete on Apple's social gaming network Game Center.

1000 Heroz HD (iPad)
The iPhone version of Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning platfomer 1000 Heroz was made free earlier this week, and now the HD iPad edition has followed suit.
The game tasks you with racing to the end of an all-new stage every single day, collecting stars and relics as you sprint, and beating your buddies' best times.

X Invasion 2: Extreme Combat (iPhone)
Your mission in X Invasion 2: Extreme Combat is to rid the San Francisco skyline of evil alien invaders by blowing them to smithereens using a variety of fighter jets and planes.
There are three different game modes to try out: Campaign, Arcade, and Tour. The latter of these allows you to take a casual flight over the San Fran Bay area.
