Resident Evil: Revelations 3DS co-op mode locked until you complete 10-hour campaign
Want to play with a friend? You'll have to go it alone first
Capcom revealed earlier this month that Resident Evil: Revelations for the Nintendo 3DS is going to cost that little bit extra due to the huge amount of content packed into the game.
However, it sounds like it will be a while before we'll be able to access all of that content, according to the game's producer Masachika Kawata, as the co-op elements are locked from the beginning.
You'll have to beat the ten-hour campaign mode before you can gain access to the online co-op Raid Mode, which also gives you access to new characters who aren't in the main game.
Resident Evil: Revelations is due to be released in January 2012. Check out our hands-on with it for an idea of what to expect.
