Welcome back to another edition of Pocket Gamer's weekly round-up of the latest iPhone and iPad mid-week releases.

As you probably already know, we produce this weekly article because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new mid-week release.

This week, we welcome a caped superhero, a sneaky mouse, a feisty racoon, a helpless fish, a few waves of hungry zombies, a bunch of furious mutants, and a range of high-powered cars into our touchscreen worlds. It's a mixed bag.

These games have recently hit the New Zealand App Store, meaning they should be available to download in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.

iPhone Superman

Chillingo's Superman sees you strap on that iconic red cape, take control of The Man of Steel, and save the city of Metropolis from Lex Luther.

Your success will be determined by the canny use of all of Superman's most famous skills, such as heat vision, super-breath, super-strength, and super-speed. And, yes, you can fly. Obviously.
