iPhone and iPad Age of Zombies gets anniversary edition treatment

You’ve got to appreciate the humour of a game that calls its erstwhile hero Barry Steakfries. It seems many of you have been, as Halfbrick has just announced that its popular shooter Age of Zombies is coming out in anniversary edition guise.

Festooned with additional weapons and a brand new Wild West level, this edition will also turn up in “glorious retina capable” HD.

There's no word on whether existing zombie hunters will have access to the additional content via a free update or if they’ll have to purchase the new title.

It’s also looking as if the new edition might be an iOS exclusive, with Android and PSP owners not getting an invite to the party.

Age of Zombies Anniversary should be stumbling its way onto the App Store around November 17th so keep your eyes peeled and those fingers on the trigger.
