Satirical boardgame War on Terror explodes onto iOS later this month

An iOS adaptation of the popular satirical boardgame War on Terror is due out this month, with a tentative release date of November 25th posted on TerrorBull Games’s blog.

TerrorBull Games is the company behind the original boardgame, which sees players controlling empires and attempting to grab land and resources in preparation for the inevitable outbreak of war.

As empires are destroyed or made bankrupt and the world steadily becomes a more dangerous and irradiated place, defeated players take control of the terrorist threat, looking to topple the remaining empires.

Usually, in the end, either an empire will ‘liberate’ the whole world or the terrorists will take the planet for themselves. We’re told that world peace is also a possible, though unlikely, ending.

The iOS version of War on Terror has been submitted to Apple, and as long as no serious problems arise you can look forward to conquering empires and detonating dirty bombs on November 25th.
