Chillingo fires Radiangames's XBLIG arcade-shooter Super Crossfire HD down to 69p/99c on iPhone and iPad

Radiangames's reimagining of its Xbox Live Indie Games hit Super Crossfire HD is now available at the bargain price of 69p / 99c from Apple's App Store, down from its usual £1.99 / $2.99.

In this arcade-shooter - whose iPhone-only version secured a Silver Award - you are charged with blasting alien craft in much the same vein as Space Invaders.

However, the twist in Super Crossfire HD is that you can warp from the bottom of the screen to the top at any time, making for some proper perspective-switching, high score-chasing fun.

And if the price drop alone isn't enough to tempt you into shelling out for Radiangames's shmup, Super Crossfire HD received a pretty meaty update last week.

Version 1.1 delivered a whole new game mode, new achievements and new leaderboards, and a raft of improvements to the game’s graphics and controls.
