We've had some great limited-time free games pop up in the App Store over the last few weeks, but the Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning Muffin Knight is definitely one of the best freebies of late.

Your aim in Muffin Knight is to retrieve and return a batch of magical muffins to an old fairy, who has laid a strange curse upon you: every muffin you touch changes you into a different creature.

Muffin Knight features Universal support, online multiplayer bouts, and Game Center leaderboards and achievements.

Epic War TD is, as we're sure you've guessed, a graphically-rich tower defence title that pits you against 14 varieties of enemy over ten unique levels.

Game Center is on board with both leaderboards and achievements, but you can use OpenFeint if you're into that sort of thing.

Soul is an adaptation of the popular Xbox Live Indie Game, which tests your dexterity and composure through a series of tricky mazes.
