iPhone strategy title King of Dragon Pass reduced to £3.99/$5.99, iPad version currently in development

To celebrate the 12th birthday of menu-based strategy title King of Dragon Pass, developer A Sharp has slashed the game's price to £3.99/$5.99 for a limited time.

Furthermore, a native iPad build of the Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning game is currently in the works.

According to the King of Dragon Pass blog, the iPad release won't just be a simple upscaled version of the iPhone offering, and will instead feature larger images and text.

''There’s no value in simply blowing the existing interface up to fill the larger screen — iPad can already do that. Well sure, you’d have crisper text, but you’d still be scrolling through advisors and text," David Dunham, A Sharp's owner, said.

The aim is to make the upcoming iPad game a Universal build but according to the blog, it's too "early to make promises". Apple's iCloud won't be supported.

"I don’t want to delay the project for features that won’t actually let more people play, so there will be no iCloud support."
