Last week Polarbit announced that Reckless Racing 2 would be coming to Android and iOS devices in December. It now looks like an Xperia Play version has also been confirmed, as expected, after this teaser tweet from Sony Ericsson.

The sequel to the gold Award-winning Reckless Racing will retain the Micro Machines-style racing. This time around it'll feature longer and more dangerous tracks, as well as a full single-player campaign. A new game mode is also planned but the developer is so far holding back the precise details.

Improvements in the graphics are fairly noticeable, with the car models and race courses looking a lot sharper and more detailed.

Meanwhile, Polarbit's back catalogue is still on sale for Halloween, with all games lowered to £0.61, so now would be a good time to check out this series if you haven’t already.
