New costumes, jetpacks, social features in latest Jetpack Joyride iOS update

Halfbrick’s just-one-more-go-athon Jetpack Joyride has been updated, with new jetpacks, costumes, and social features for iOS gamers to sink their teeth into.

Download the update and head to the Stash – Jetpack Joyride’s store full of unlockable goodies – and you’ll find two new jetpacks for sale. There’s the Chrome Plated Afterburner and the Gold Piggy Pack. Don’t they both sound tasteful?

New costumes can be found in the Stash, too, with Joyride’s hero Barry Steakfries now able to don regal robes, a robotic shell, or even dress as Sensei from the Fruit Ninja games.

Finally, in-game markers will now indicate the highscores of your friends, meaning you’ll always know whether you’ve just smashed a friend’s record or been scuppered a few metres short.
