Classic beat-'em-up Soul Calibur coming 'soon' to iPhone and iPad

Namco Bandai VP of marketing Carlson Choi has revealed to Joystiq that the original entry in the Soul Calibur series is battling its way to the iPhone and iPad.
Unfortunately, Choi didn't share an expected release date, but he did say the game would be available "soon".
First released for arcades back in 1998, Soul Calibur was subsequently ported to both the Dreamcast and Microsoft's Xbox Live service.
It remains to be seen if the HD graphics from the latter port will make it to the iOS release.
