Sony confirms that PlayStation Vita will launch in Europe and America on February 22nd
Priced at £229.99
Sony has finally revealed the date on which European and US gamers can get their hands on the company's upcoming PlayStation Vita.
February 22nd is the date to note down in your diary, with plenty of red pen circled around it. Japanese gamers will, of course, have already had it for a couple of months by then, but we won't hold that against them. Much.
The RRP for the handheld is £229.99 / $249.99 / €249.99, so expect to pay around about the £200 mark in the UK, since the various online and brick-and-mortar retailers will inevitably try and undercut one another.
As for the Vita's US and European launch line-up, Sony hasn't officially confirmed which games will be available come February 22nd.
You can, however, confidently expect the likes of LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, WipeOut 2048, and Uncharted to debut for the Vita in the US and Europe at the same time as the console.
