Welcome to Tuesday's edition of Pocket Gamer's free game roundup - a feature that highlights the top App Store titles that have been made free in the past 24 hours.

Today, these freebies allow you to flip gravity whenever you see fit; embark on a courageous mission to save one of your pals; and create an army of warriors, assassins, ninjas, and rogues.

As you all know by now, prices in the App Store change frequently, and typically without warning. We suggest you grab these freebies sharpish.

Remember: let us and your fellow readers know about any other great free apps in our comments section below.

You can check out all of the latest App Store updates, price drops, and more here.

Gravity Guy (iPhone)

Miniclip's Gravity guy is a typical endless runner that tasks you with sprinting as far as you possibly can, while avoiding your pursuers and a range of obstacles. Luckily, you can alter gravity whenever you please, and use it to your advantage.

Gravity Guy managed to bag itself a Bronze Award when it floated into Pocket Gamer Towers last year, due to its frequent checkpoints and novel multiplayer mode.

Saving Private Spider (iPhone)

Saving Private Spider sees you set out on a mission to save one of your best eight-legged buddies, who has been captured by enemy flies.

Along the way you'll have to take hostages of your own, overcome obstacles, and release helpless captives. Unfortunately, Tom Hanks is nowhere to be seen.

Battle Fury Pro (Universal)

Down from £5.99/$8.99, Battle Fury Pro mixes elements from the strategy and role-playing genres. That means you can build your own elite squadron from over 50 different character classes, and wage war in turn-based battles.

Each character has its own set of skills, and be upgraded with the experience points you earn in battle.
