Gold Award winner Ticket to Ride for iPad gets bug fixes and new features in latest update
Just the ticket
Days of Wonder's Gold Award-winning iPad boardgame Ticket to Ride has just been updated, bringing with it stability improvements and a handful of new features.
Players can now choose which of the AI personalities to compete against in single-player and pass-the-handset multiplayer modes, including the newly introduced US Rail Baron Cornelius Vanderbot Jr.
In addition, you are now able to take a few moments at the end of each railway-building session to review the final board and your opponents’ tickets and bonus cards.
Wonder no moreThe developer has also integrated a Days of Wonder News Channel into its turn-based tabletop boardgame, which promises to keep players up to date on news about both the physical and digital versions of the popular game.
As for the under-the-hood tweaks and refinements to Ticket to Ride, Days of Wonder has improved the stability of online matches played over weak wi-fi connections, and has ensured the game's compatibility with iOS 5 (which goes live tomorrow).
