iOS racer Reckless Getaway gets extra car and four new tracks in update
Android version getting the same treatment soon
Polarbit's Reckless Getaway is one of the better iOS racers, combining the rampant chase mechanics of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit with the touchscreen-friendly top-down gameplay and high polish of stablemate Reckless Racing.
The game rather inevitably involves getting away from the scene of a bank robbery in a reckless fashion. As in Burnout, you need to take risks to achieve the highest number of points, weaving through traffic, performing stunts, and collecting coins that are strewn across the road.
We liked Reckless Getaway enough to give it a very respectable Bronze Award in July, and it's just been enhanced with a whole new chapter, adding four tracks and an extra car. The same update is due to hit Android in due course.
Reckless Getaway is available on the App Store now for £1.99, and on the Android Market for £1.92 [link].
