Android 2.3.4 now rolling out to Xperia Play and Xperia arc users

The Android 2.3.4 firmware update is now rolling out to those with Xperia Play and Xperia arc handsets. The update will eventually come to all other phones in Sony Ericsson’s Xperia range over the next month or so.

The update was originally scheduled for October and hasn't materialised on our phone here in the UK yet, but there's evidence of it appearing on devices in certain European regions a little early.

The OS upgrade itself includes an improved version of Facebook inside Xperia and some 3D camera functionality that allows you to shoot a panoramic photograph for display on a Sony 3D-capable television. Everyone's got one of those, right?
