The third episode in developer Straandlooper's crime-puzzling Hector series has just made landfall in New Zealand. It'll, therefore, be touching down in an App Store near you around midnight this evening.

The game itself is called Hector: Ep3 - Beyond Reasonable Doom, and once again it sees you stepping into the shoes of boozy copper Hector, as he staggers back to the "armpit" of Great Britain - Clappers Wreake - to save it from itself.

Should you decide to take the Hector plunge, you'll be in for some tricky puzzles, adult jokes, and gritty scenes. So, more of the same, thank you.

Which is a good thing, actually, given that Hector: Ep3 - Beyond Reasonable Doom's direct predecessor - Senseless Acts of Justice - captured a Silver Award last month, with our man Will praising the character development and funny dialogue.

Hector: Ep3 - Beyond Reasonable Doom is out now in New Zealand for iPhone and iPad. Once it lands in the UK and US tonight, it'll retail for £4.99 / $6.99.
