Konami has managed to get around EA's defence and slot one past its rival by reducing the price of footy title PES 2011 - Pro Evo Soccer to £1.49/$1.99.
As you can expect, Pro Evo features several teams (some real, some not) from a wide variety of countries, plus hundreds of players and numerous tournaments, such as the UEFA Champions League.
You can even jump into the boots of Messi and run your mates ragged over local wi-fi and Bluetooth multiplayer modes.
Other features include Retina display support, and leaderboards and achievements.
