Physics-based puzzler Happy Hills jumps onto iPhone and iPad
The hills have eyes
Chimera's colourful physics-based platformer Happy Hills has bounced into the App Store.
This chirpy freemium puzzler is set in the world of Euphoria, where things would be pretty swell were it not for an invasion of 'nasty blocks'. You're the unlucky fellow charged with ridding the hills of them.
And rid the hills of them you shall, if you make proper use of the game's custom physics engine to exploit each block's different properties. You've only got a limited number of bombs, so you'll need to play tactically to win.
Region unlockThe first 48 levels are free, but if you want more, you'll find an extra 48 levels waiting for you in the desert region in-app purchase, currently available at a special introductory price. Additional regions are scheduled to launch in October and November.
It's a Universal app, but there's a catch. The developer warns that due to "memory requirements", Happy Hills won't run on anything older than an iPhone 3GS or a third-gen iPod touch.
Happy Hills is free, out now worldwide, and available for iPhone (3GS and above) and iPad.
