Acclaimed adventure game Machinarium has just hit the New Zealand App Store, which means it'll be available from midnight in the UK.

Released for PC and Mac way back in 2009, Machinarium is a point-and-click puzzle/adventure game with no dialogue and starring a robot called Josef.

As you progress through the world, you unlock memories and save citizens, eventually rescuing your robotic girlfriend.

Machinarium is available exclusively for iPad 2, and will cost £2.99 / $4.99 when it hits the UK and US App Stores at around midnight.
