Vodafone first out of the gates in the UK with the white Samsung Galaxy S II

Vodafone is a company normally associated with the colour red, yet it's the first UK network operator to start shipping the white version of the Samsung Galaxy S II.

As is the norm with these differently coloured editions of the same phone, there’s been no changes to the internal specs of the Galaxy S II to differentiate it from its black cousin. So, that means you’ll still be getting a Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning dual-core handset for your money.

Given that the S II’s been out a while now, it also shouldn’t come as a surprise that the network is offering the handset for free on £35 / month contracts that span two years, with the initial handset cost rising to £199 if you’d rather take the baseline £26 / month version instead.

For reference, that’s exactly the same pricing model as the original edition, so you're not paying a premium for the lighter shade.

If you’ve been hankering for the albino version ever since you clapped eyes upon the South Korean answer to the iPhone, follow this link to be taken to the Vodafone webstore.
