Samsung pulls Galaxy Tab 7.7 from IFA show
An Apple a day keeps the Tab away
Samsung has confirmed that it'll be withdrawing its newly announced Galaxy Tab 7.7 from the IFA trade show in Berlin. Why? Apple.
The iPad-maker went to the courts a few days ago and won a court order banning sales of Samsung's latest tablet in Germany.
Samsung says it "respects the court's decision", and has therefore pulled the Tab 7.7 from exhibition in the German capital.
Déjà vuThe Galaxy Tab 7.7 isn't the first Samsung product to wind up on the receiving end of a court order. Its bigger brother the Tab 10.1 was also temporarily banned back in August.
Apple and Samsung are tied up in a massive legal conflict, with Apple alleging that Samsung has "slavishly" imitated the design of the iPad, and Samsung arguing that Apple has infringed on patents of its own.
