Apple fixture installation point towards an October 21st iPhone 5 release

A tipster has informed tech blog This is my next that retailer Best Buy is scheduled to implement an "Apple fixture" on Friday the 21st of October.

If you've been keeping up with your Apple rumours you'll already know that the 21st lines up nicely with the iPhone 5's suspected release window.

Although the fixture could be for anything, the tipster was quick to point out that managers normally arrive at the store at 7AM, and not 6AM as the provided document requests.

He also stated that a similar activity occurred at around the time of the iPhone 4's launch.

Finally, the tipster told This is my next that a Best Buy Mobile managers meeting is scheduled for October 10th. This is to discuss "upcoming BIG release dates."
