Mid-week iOS releases: Spy Mouse, Contre Jour, Hector Ep2 – Senseless Acts of Justice, Peggle HD, Edge Extended, and more

Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the new mid-week iPhone and iPad releases.
As you probably already know, we bring you this round-up because we're too busy to bring you a story for every new game out.
Rob and Rich are both - once again - editing your future reading material, Mark, Mike, and Keith are all hard at work on other articles, Will is now a celebrity radio star, and I'm here with you.
Thankfully, the batch of new releases this Wednesday is a lot better than the past couple of round-ups, and includes titles from Firemint, PopCap, EA, and Chillingo.
These titles have all hit the New Zealand App Store, meaning you can grab them in the UK and US from around midnight.

iPhone Spy MouseFiremint's long-awaited line-drawer Spy Mouse sees you control Agent Squeak - a super-secret James Bond wannabe.
There are 70 levels to scamper through, six unique worlds and hench-cats to overcome, and a bunch of gadgets, gizmos, and power-ups to help you complete your mission.
There are even secret levels and achievements to unlock.

Chillingo's Contre Jour is a 'beautiful world shaped by the interplay of light and darkness', where you use your finger to morph the game's landscape and propel mysterious creatures to safety.
You'll find yourself pulling, swiping, and tapping to activate tendrils, air geysers, and portals in the hope of solving each chapter of the game.
There are 60 levels on offer, 180 collectible lights, and a variety of achievements to grab.

MiniGame Paradise features ten 'amusing' one-touch mini-games for a total of 70 quests.
There are 35 adorable characters to play, clothes to collect, and the ability to give your house a 60-minute makeover.

Nom 5
Your job in Nom 5 is to help the titular hero find his way home.
This is done, naturally, by blasting off into space, shooting enemies, and solving 'mind-dazzling' puzzles.
There are a dozen stages (including six boss stages) on hand, relics to collect, and 41 Game Center achievements to unlock.

Hector: Ep2 – Senseless Acts of Justice sees you step back into the shoes of the hard-nosed, soft-bellied copper Hector, who is on the hunt for a psychopath.
According to the app's description, this second instalment is twice as long as the original offering, but is only 'half as good'.
Gotta' love that sense of humour.

Infinity Field
Infinity Field charges you with destroying wave after wave of enemies in an 'addictive and visually stunning dual stick space-age shooter'.
There are lasers, bombs, and several other power-ups to keep you alive, six different game modes to get through, and Crystal integration for achievements.

Helmet Hero tasks you with defeating the evil Goots and rescuing the Gizzles over 50 levels and across five environments.
To do so, you'll have to shoot a range of Helmet Heroes at the former.

Dust Those Bunnies!
Dust Those Bunnies! features two game modes – Wage War and Commando – that challenge you to sweep away the dreaded dust bunnies once and for all.
Your arsenal of weapons includes microfibre cloths, dust vacs, and a range of other household items.
There are 12 in-game achievements to grab and Game Center leaderboards to top.

Demolition Master 3D – the sequel to Demolition Master – allows you to travel the world and take part in ambitious construction projects.

Your task in Ramses II is to travel back to ancient Egypt and help a forgetful Pharaoh rediscover his hidden treasure.
This is achieved through memory and playing sliding-block puzzles.
You can compete against up to four of your mates in pass-the-handset mode, or take on the game's multiple difficulty levels alone. Your choice.

The official game of the 2011 Speedway GP sees you racing around 11 real-world stadiums as one of 15 real-life speedway racers.
You can crank the game's difficulty setting up to Hard and attempt to unlock a host of Game Center achievements, if you feel the need. The need for... I'll stop there.

Mobigame's Edge Extended is a cube manipulation game that offers 44 challenging levels of play.
There are 23 unique tunes for your ears, some graphical optimisations for Retina display devices, and a few new gameplay twists on the excellent original.

Your job in Monster Mouth DDS is to travel inside the gaping mouth of gigantic monsters and attempt to solve their dental issues.
Each monster has a unique complaint that you have to deal with as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Treemaker is a casual puzzler that tasks you with travelling through the game's three worlds and aiding 'the creatures' in their attempt to reclaim their trees.
You do this by using simple touch controls: one tap casts a rope, a second tap sends you flying in the rope's direction, and a swipe helps you to gain speed.
