Physics-based puzzler Max and the Magic Marker delayed on DS in the US until 'holiday season', no UK date confirmed

We already knew that Danish indie dev team Easy Interactive is porting the physics-based puzzler Max and the Magic Marker over to DS.

Having impressed us on Windows Phone late last year and again on iOS in March, Max and the Magic Marker was slated to drop on Nintendo's trusty old handheld on June 30th.

The observant among you will have noticed, though, that we are now in August, and still no sign of Max and his magical biro.

In time for Crimbo

This is because Easy Interactive's colourful platform adventure has been delayed for the DS until the 'holiday season'. Well, to be precise, it's been delayed in the US until the holiday season.

As you can no doubt gather, there's no word yet on a UK release date. What we can confirm, however, is that in Max and the Magic Marker for DS, you'll draw your way out of trouble across three separate worlds and fifteen different levels.

Alongside the uncertainty over the European release date, one other major question remains: will DS customers be willing to pay full price for a gaming experience you can purchase on iPhone for just 69p / 99c?
