Popular mobile Scrabble-alike Words With Friends is making its way to Mark Zuckerberg's social network.

That's Facebook, if you didn't already know.

As in the aforementioned Scrabble your aim is to score as many points as possible by constructing words on a board containing familiar double-letter, double-word, triple-letter, and triple-word zones.

Words With Friends picked up a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award at review.

So whats new in the Facebook port?

Well, you'll be able to start a game on your mobile device and continue it in the comfort of your armchair using a laptop.

Cross-platform support will also be present, meaning you can slug it out with droid lovers, and iPhone and iPad users, and you will, of course, be able to challenge your Facebook chums.

According to PC Mag, you'll even have the ability to post about your current game on your friends' wall. They'll love that.

You can grab Words With Friends for your iPhone for £1.49/$1.99, for your iPad for £1.99/$2.99, or for your Android device for free.

Ad-supported iPhone and iPad versions are also available.
