Capcom's FarmVille-esque dig-'em-up Smurfs' Village has been updated with magic shrubs, a variety or crops, and new levels.

If you're tired of your crops withering before you get a chance to harvest them, you can now utilise 'magic shrubs' to completely eradicate the problem.

Sticking with crops, Farmer Smurf has been upgraded with a new 'plant all' ability, and two brand new crops packs - each containing three new crops - have also been added to the game.

If you spend more time sprucing up your village than you do planting in it, you'll be pleased to hear that you can purchase a new land expansion, and fill it with three new farm-themed items.

Cosmetic changes to your village's beach, levels 37 and 38; bug fixes; and stability improvements round out the update.

Down and dirty

Smurfs' Village tasks you with planting and harvesting crops, decorating your land, and guiding your Smurfs in a number of mini-games.

You can grab the Universal app from the App Store for free. Just be mindful of those in-app purchases, eh.
