Physics-based puzzler Save Toshi has escaped the confines of the App Store and has made its way to the Android Market.

Your mission in this quirky dance-'em-up is to escort a crazy demon-killing girl - Toshi - to the dancefloor, by firing balls at various bits of scenery to complete a range of 3D puzzles.

A simple star rating after each puzzle will tell you just how good you really are, but if you're hopeless, you can utilise the game's on-board hint system.

If you're more Saturday Night Failure than Saturday Night Fever, Toshi suffers an untimely death.

You spin me right round

Besides winning a prestigious Pocket Gamer award, Save Toshi has been download from the App Store more than one million times, rising to the lofty heights of 7th place in the iTunes puzzle category.

It's free to download from the Android Market [download here] and comes packed with 20 levels, though you have the ability to grab another four packs of puzzles.

You can obtain these by heading over to Tapjoy's offer wall, or by shelling out $1.99 through in-app purchase.

We contacted Nitako about the prospect of porting Popstar Physics (Save Toshi 2) over to Android and received this reply:

"If the Save Toshi Android version proves to be an economically viable product, we will port the sequel and maybe some other games we have. Only time will tell."
